For most two-year-olds this will be their first group experience away
from their parents. With this in mind most of our efforts in this
program will be to help the child function independently of their
parents. Children will learn through songs and Bible stories that Jesus
is their best Friend. We will provide a warm caring environment in
which your child can grow and explore. The emphasis will be on
discovery and socialization rather than mastery of skills.
Monday & Wednesday (2 days) or Tuesday & Thursday (2 days) or Friday (1 day)
Mornings: 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.
Since this may be your child's first group experience, much of the time
is spent in helping him/her to develop a good self-image in a peer
group setting. Through the use of Christian Bible stories, your child
will learn that Jesus loves him and is his Friend and Savior. The
curriculum also offers an abundance of reading readiness concepts which
are presented using a multi-sensory approach to learning to be
accomplished through active participation and involvement. Stress is
therefore placed on exposure and experience and not on mastery and
performance. Academic concepts include Christian and secular seasons of
the year, colors, shapes, classification, spatial relationships, gross
motor skills (climbing, running, jumping, etc.) and small muscle
activity (puzzles, small manipulative toys, cuttings, drawing, etc.).
Good listening and speaking skills will also be emphasized.
Program This program is again aimed at developing a good seIf-concept.
As with the other programs there will he an attempt to nurture the
child's spiritual growtlh through Christian Bible stories, songs and
Chapel services. A multi-sensory, whole child approach to learning and
readiness concepts will continue to be introduced with a slightly more
challenging approach. Exposure to number and letter recognition will be
daily intertwined in the curriculum as will verbal and listening
skills. Enhancement of small muscles will be provided through use of
challenging table and floor readiness manipulatives. Group dynamics and
problem solving are emphasized as we help to aid the child's growth and
development in preparation of his/her formal education in an elementary
school setting.

EARLY ARRIVAL PROGRAM
Students may arrive at 8:00 for an additional fee of
$30.00 a month for two and three year olds and $35.00 a month for four year olds. Payment on a daily basis will be $4.00 per day.

5% tuition discount is given to the second child in the family when enrolled during same school year.
